I designed some socks for Robyn’s Nest Sock club. She was my secret pal hostess in the past two secret pal swaps that I’ve done. She emailed me a few weeks ago and wanted to know if I could design something – and of course, I did! It’s my first commissioned/paid design!
I hope you like it… but because I’m a tease, I can only give you photos right now! I’ll be making the pattern available on January 2nd! In the meantime, you just have to be excited that I’m now a paid knitwear designer!
Awesome! They look great!
It’s a beautiful pattern! Congrats, Nicole! 🙂
very cool!, BUT/AND I am noticing some squares back there… some squares not yet sewn together back there… I fnished knitting, but I have the sinking/horrible feeling that I knit too loose, or on too big needles, cuz the squares feel, for lack of a better word, floppy… am thinking to start over, how crazy is that…
Congrats….You are a Rockstar (again) !!
What a lovely green!
yay!! Congratulations!
oh I love the green and the pattern!
great work!
🙂
Very exciting Nicole – Congratulations!! I knew it wouldn’t be long. That is a pretty great sock, I like it a lot 🙂
Beautiful socks! Congratulations!
Congrats!!! Thats awesome… they look great!
Found your post wherein you mentioned Sno Crumble. Decided to comment here, in case you didn’t notice the comment on that old post from 2006…
Sno Crumble is still on the shelves in Ireland, and still popular. I didn’t realize it was an Irish brand though, until I moved (in the past few weeks) to the UK. I’m hoping the Dairygold coop (the manufacturer) introduces it over here… I’m missing my apple crumble.

What a great design. I love the color, but I am partial to green.
