Because last week I was really busy running to:
- the post office
- computer labs
- the registrar’s office (to get transcripts)
- miscellaneous offices around campus gathering letters of recommendation to send these last few grad school applications (I’m done! Finally!),
and then since I had an awful emotionally charged weekend, I haven’t been able to blog about my last secret pal package… which was totally awesome and really, really rocked my world…
So, there’s a two-pack of pencils that say something cute about the surgeon general warning that knitting is addicting, some of the Chick Chocolates that I loved (and have really, really hit the spot lately) in the second package from her and some knitters hand balm (which smells really good), a pretty notecard of yarn and a flower, and the needles, pattern and yarn needed to knit a pair of socks – and the yarn is angora – as in the rabbit! I’ve dreamed of having angora since I felt some last year – it feels like a cloud. I love it!
But wait, that’s not all…
She also included notecards about knitting! I always look for notecards about knitting, but they’re so hard to find! I love these and I’ve already sent one to a friend (who’s sick with mono, strep, tonsilitis and sinusitis ALL at once!)….
So who is my secret pal you ask? She’s Tori of radioactive-girl.blogspot.com/ . I think the rule is that I ask you all to go over and send her some love… She was a great spoiler by the way!
I always seem to hear about the secret pal type things just a little bit too late to sign up. Am I reading the wrong blogs or something? 🙂 I’d love to get involved in SP 10 if there will be one, or some other similar exchange.
I love how everything is photographed on the log cabin blanket. 🙂 The yarn looks luscious!
What a fun package!! I’m tempted to participate in the next swap – hopefully I will have a partner such great taste!!
I’m looking forward to sending you your package late next week. You’re a fun girl to find little things for!
What a delightful package to receive. You “sis” certainly was a thoughtful shopper.
Congrats on getting all your app stuff together.
Great Stuff, so you know where I could get those great notecards?

Nice goodies, Tori has awesome taste (I know it for a fact too, she sent me some of those Chick Chocloates…YUMMY!)!
I am so happy you love everything! I had so much fun choosing things for you! Hopefully we can keep in touch even though it is over. I love all the things I have been learning fom reading your blog. I am somewhat of a new knitter, so all your tips are awesome!
