Patterns:
A pair of felted slippers I found linked from a this blog.
When I get a laptop, I’m going to knit this for it. Not only will it show off some amazing knitting skillz, but I may be able to use some buttons for it!
For some reason, I got really inspired by swirls in knitwear. Here’s swirls on socks, swirls on a hat and swirls on mittens.
I like the way the cables travel on these socks. Definitely something I’ll try later!
I thought this was a pretty clever scarf. Definitetly a good gift sometime.
This hat is also pretty neat too.
I’m addicted to Dishcloths. And I’m working on knitting someone some dishtowels. I just found a link to this dishcloth pattern - and I have tons of variegated kitchen cotton to knit it in!
These are fun socks, but I’m not yet sure if I like holes in my socks…
I love this sweater. I think my next sweater is going to be a finer knit and it’s either going to be Lucy in the Sky or Serrano.
This is also on my knit-in-fine-yarn list. I’m just not sure how good it will look on me….
I’m not sure exactly why, but I know I’ll need a knitted beer bottle someday. That’s why I’ve added this link.
This is on my print-so-I-knit-soon list. It’s a great bag - but I’ll need to find a good handle….
I found this headband over at Craft Leftovers and thought it was cute. It’s crochet’ed but it may be worth struggling through.
Techniques and such…
This tute saved my life when I had to do short rows.
Places to spend my hard earned dollars:
This is the website for the yarn store in Indy. I’m not such a fan of them, but they have the best selection of yarns near me.
I thought this place would be good to remember for buying buttons online. Or, there’s also this place.
This sock yarn is gorgeous - and it’s a great price too!
Someday when I want to dye some real yarn (not knitpicks bare - which I still love) I’ll buy natural yarn here.
